SWC Group Donates More than $2,000 in Needed Merchandise to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas

CARROLLTON, TX – SWC Group contacted Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas to obtain a wish list of items needed for operations of their clubs. Employees from SWC Group’s Carrollton, TX office conducted a contest to encourage donations of needed items, resulting in collections of more than $2,000 in merchandise.
“We selected Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas because of their commitment to nurture and guide area youth – the future leaders of our community. We believe that all youth should have access to proper education and support, which increases their chances of becoming successful, responsible adults,” says Jeff Hurt, CEO.
Employees were broken into teams and given the wish list with point values assigned to each item. Needed items included school supplies, craft and art supplies, yoga mats and games. The goal of the contest was to see which team could collection the most points by the end of the month by donating item’s into each team’s box. The winning team was treated to lunch with Jeff Hazzard, COO & CIO.
